About
Olivia Hambrett is an Australian-born writer and editor currently based in Germany (with a tendency to escape to Santorini for the summer).
With her interests spanning travel, psychology and socio-cultural issues, Olivia’s portfolio is varied and global. As a features writer and columnist, she has written for publications based in Australia, the UK, Germany and the USA. Among other publications, she has contributed to Peppermint Magazine, The Australian Times, The Travel Editor, The Matador Network and The Local – Germany’s News in English.
She is a founding editor of online publication, Trespass Magazine and was the Editor in Chief from 2008-2011. In 2010, she had a short story included in the inaugral The Modern Woman’s Anthology, published by Palmer Higgs.
Olivia studied her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Writing, at Macquarie University, Sydney. She can usually be found drinking tea or hovering over the kettle making tea.
